Dream Catcher Sample Photo Booth Design

Before we star our discussion ill give you a little introduction to our topic, this layout i specially made with native Americans Indians theme with Dream Catcher.

What is Dream Catcher?

Dream Catcher is a traditional Native American symbol and spiritual tool that is often used as a decorative object. It consists of a hoop woven with a web-like pattern and adorned with various decorative elements such as feathers, beads, and crystals.

According to Native American folklore, dream catchers are believed to catch bad dreams and negative energies, allowing only positive dreams to pass through the web and reach the sleeper. The bad dreams are then believed to be trapped in the web and neutralized by the morning sunlight.

Dream catchers have become popular beyond Native American cultures and are now often used as decorative items, charms, or even as photo booth props. They are cherished for their aesthetic appeal and their symbolic connection to spirituality and positivity.

Where is Dream Catcher originated?

Dream Catchers have their origins in Native American cultures, particularly within the Ojibwe (Chippewa) Nation. The Ojibwe people, who are indigenous to the Great Lakes region of North America, are credited with the creation of the traditional dream catcher.

The Ojibwe people have a rich oral tradition and believe that dream catchers originated from Spider Woman, also known as Asibikaashi. According to their legends, Spider Woman watched over and protected the people, especially the children and infants. To keep them safe during the night, she weaved a special web or hoop that would catch any bad dreams or negative energies.

Over time, the practice of making dream catchers spread to other Native American tribes and communities. Today, dream catchers are widely recognized and appreciated as cultural symbols associated with Native American heritage and spirituality.

There are lots of culture and tradition all over the world, but today has past so quickly and they keep evolving and evolving and some tradition where lost.
